The Padres were forced to forfeit their game at Christopher after the coaching staff deemed the field unplayable.
Apparently Christopher disagreed. So did the umpires.
So Christopher was granted a forfeit win.
Come on.
Carmel showed up, spent the gas to get its players to Gilroy.
This is not an eligibility issue. It was a field issue, according to Carmel.
Bad call.
