Track and Field fraternity

In an effort to keep the Alvarez track and field program alive, coaches from Soledad, Palma and Alisal are helping the Eagles coaching staff in certain events once a week.
 Alvarez has some talented athletes. Ultimately, this could hurt Palma or Alisal at the TCAL finals in terms of their own athletes moving on.
 That's not what it's about, according to one coach. It's about enhancing the sport and athlete.
 This is not the first time Alvarez has asked for help with a shortage of coaches. Nearly a decade ago, North Salinas' coaching staff volunteered to run the Eagles program with theirs.
 Name another sport where coaches during the season work that closely together for the athlete?
