The Spirits have two talented athletes in Kiero Paulo in the hurdles and sprints, and Alex Lathos in the middle distance. Notre Dame will produce big points in the relays and in the field as well.
The key could be the return of Nina Anderson, who as a sophomore, went to the state meet in the 3,200, but has battled leg injuries the last two years.
San Benito is loaded with its depth. And Salinas has one of the elite sprinters in the CCS in Iesha Boyd, along with vaulter Tenny Schaffer, a CCS finalist last spring.
Alvarez's Gabrielle Bollin is among the CCS leaders in the discus.
