D'Andre Green became the fifth Hartnell College football player to earn a football scholarship when the defensive back signed with Alabama-Birmingham.
Green was an all-conference defensive back for the Panthers, intercepting three passes, returning one a school record 99 yards for a touchdown. He also had 45 tackles and averaged 22 yards on kickoffs.
Green joins Austin Fales, Alvin Jelks, Michael Milovale and Nick Nunez as Panthers that have signed with Division I football programs.
