Monte Vista baseball

 It's been a good year for sports at Monte Vista.
 Baseball should be no different.
 Two all-leaguers are back in pitcher Andy Muller and catcher Sam Thorne. The pair were also the teams leading hitters last year. That's a good starting point.
 Pitching has been a plus for Monte Vista during a current four game winning streak, as the staff has allowed just three earned runs in the last 28 innings.
 I expect Monte Vista to go into its March 21 meeting with Monterey unbeaten in MBL play.
