MBL boys track

 Two of the premier athletes in the section compete in the MBL in reigning CCS high jump champion Stephen Dorsey of Monterey and pole vaulter Austin Decker of North County.
 Dorsey, who has a career best of 6-feet-9 in the high jump, was fifth in the state last year as a junior. Decker went to the state meet in the pole vault.
  Dorsey, who doubles in the spring and also plays volleyball, is also among the CCS leaders in the triple jump. He and Decker will likely battle for supremacy in the 110 high hurdles.
 If you're looking for a sleeper team in the MBL, keep an eye on improving Christopher, a second year program that didn't have a senior on last year's team.
