Three of the Otters previous four losses prior to being swept in a doubleheader on Friday, had been by one run. The other was by two.
The Otters got tagged in Game 2 against No. 18 Cal State, Dominguez Hills 8-0 -- the most runs they have allowed this season.
It happens.
Bouncing back today in another doubleheader with Dominguez Hills is critical for the Otters in their quest for a conference crown. CSUMB (22-6) entered the week ranked No. 4 in the nation in Division II.
The last time CSUMB dropped two straight, it rattled off 10 straight wins.
