We know the TCAL has been the dominate league for most sports in this county for a decade.
Baseball is a different animal.
The MTAL, regarded as a 'C' league at best, has five teams this year that are not only capable of winning a league title, but beating anyone in this county.
In fact, the MTAL is a combined 7-0 right now.
While the top half of the TCAL is strong, the bottom half is not.

Has any MTAL team has played a quality opponent yet besides PG (6-2 loss to Aptos)? How about a WCAL/CCS ranked team? Or even a team with a winning record? I do know they have scheduled the Coastal Athletic League, Seaside and the last place teams in the TCAL. Definitely a smaller gap though than football and basketball .
I don't think you will see Carmel, PG, KC or Stevenson schedule a CAL team.
