Salinas boys hoops

Don't be so quick to assume Salinas can't defend its Tri-County Athletic League title.
Where they exposed a little bit in falling to Seaside by three points last Thursday?
Well, Salinas doesn't have the same quickness it possessed last year from the guard play.
 But again, I don't put a lot of emphasis on tournament games, particularly during the Christmas Holidays. Different tip off times, different school schedules, different atmosphere.
 That being said, Salinas looked good in a win over Monterey on Saturday. Arthur Caldwell is one of the elite post players in the area that you're not hearing a lot about.
