Arguably the biggest signing for the Otters in the off-season has yet to play a game. And now their is some concern on whether the former Alisal High star will be cleared by the NCAA.
The 6-foot-9 Caballero has missed the teams first seven games -- a third of the season. The NCAA still has not made a decision on his eligibility.
Caballero, who moved from Mexico when he was 18, played two seasons at San Jose State before a back injury sidelined him in 2009.
