Proposal on the table
A proposal will be made tonight at a CCS meeting to have a private school-public school playoff format installed for football.
How it will fly among CCS officials is open for debate
My question is if the CCS approved it, which I doubt, and it's not a state wide change, how do you decide which section champion gets placed in a division for a possible Northern California regional game next year?
You can't just assume all private schools are Division I.

I agree. Plus if would make CCS the laughing stock of the 10 section in CIF. The privates play public schools throughout the season. Why would they have to play just privates in the section playoffs? I guess the privates can spin off vand create their own sections. Maybe have a super OAL of just pivate- like the Oakland league/section.
