Hartnell's win over Monterey Peninsula College last Saturday vaulted them into the Top 25 in the state at No. 21, one spot in front of the Lobos.
The Panthers, who shared the Coast Conference title with MPC, also climbed two spots in the Northern California polls to No. 11. The Lobos are No. 13.
Both teams will compete in bowl games this weekend.
