The meeting is tonight to decide who goes into the Monterey Bay League's Upper Division and the Lower Division. Remember the Tri-County Athletic League will no longer exist.
I'd say Christopher is a lock to move up and North Salinas is headed down. I think Alvarez could be headed down as well.
But I can't see Monte Vista Christian being forced into the Upper Division. That's not a wise move. And I'm not sure Monterey feels comfortable being pushed up with just 25 players on a varsity roster.
Arguments will be intense. But ultimately, the athletic directors vote.
