Equity league

North County had no business being pushed into the Monterey Bay League's 'A' division in the first place.
Moving them back into the 'B' division on Monday was the right move.
Of course, Alvarez is not happy being thrown back into the 'A' division. And I can understand. It has never had a winning season in six years in the TCAL.
To take it a step further, North County has beaten the Eagles the last two years in non-league battles.
But there is a tremendous upside to Alvarez. It has one of the best running backs in the area. He just had to play quarterback this fall. And the freshmen did not lose a game this year.

Yes, but like it did with Sarmiento, Palma is probably looking to pitch "financial aid" to some of standout Freshmen at EAHS. They play with a huge advantage: no attendance/enrollment borders. They never have to rebuild.
