Henry Lusk steps down
The former Monterey High football star and five-year NFL veteran resigned as the head football coach at Kennedy High in Sacramento amid controversy following an on-field fight that broke out during the fourth quarter of a game between Kennedy and McClatchy High.
Both teams were ordered by the Sacramento City Unified School District to forfeit their games this weekend. Kennedy reportedly dismissed eight players for the season.
Instead, players from both teams will engage in a community service project this weekend in Sacramento.
Kennedy had its best season in 10 years last fall under Lusk, going 5-4. This fall the program was off to an 0-5 start.
Ironically, Lusk was briefly the McClatchy head coach in 2006 for a few months before the school relieved him of his duties before ever coaching a game.

What's the resignation because of a picture of himself on a pink thong? Just want to know why is it illegal to take a picture of yourself in a thong and lose a coaching job when It's on your personal cell phone. At leat that's what the rumors are in Sacramento.
