Some of you can't wait for quarterback Devin Pearson to graduate - that the window of Carmel's dominance will finally close.
 Yes, we're all tired, myself included, of seeing the Padres post lopsided scores. No one wants to watch a game that's not competitive.
No doubt, the Padres won't be the same team without Pearson next fall.
But 20 players are returning. Half of them are starters, including five sophomores.
Carmel may not be a CCS Division III power in 2012, but its run of supremacy in the MTAL isn't going anywhere.
 Don't read into junior varsity results to predict the future. Didn't King City win the JV title last year?
