Some of the elite in the trenches
Hildely Manzur, Palma: Started on the defensive line last fall as a 270-pound sophomore.
Chris Thompson, Salinas: A lean 325-pounds on a 6-foot-9 frame anchoring the offensive line.
Lucas Govan, Carmel: Made an impression at a handful of summer camps as an offensive lineman.
James Karasek, Pacific Grove: The MTAL's Lineman of the Year last fall.
Jeremy Tai, Monterey: A pass rushing defensive end, who could also see time at quarterback.
Jonathan Tuiolosega, Seaside: The 285-pound, 15-year-old beast will anchor both sides of the line.

Jonathan Tuiolosega isn't on here? Watch him vs that giant in Salinas. NATIONAL UNDERCLASSMEN HEAVYWEIGHT WRESTLING CHAMPION. He even BEAT last years national overall champion at the that meet. Was 14 years old and started last season.
He is now. It was an oversite on my part. I had him on my orginal list.
Thanks Quiggles
Make that oversight.
Sounds like a good matchup. IMO a smaller (not that he's small by any means) but quicker and more agile lineman will out-perform the stagnant beast every time. I'll take the wrestling champ in that one.
