Let me get this straight.
The Denver Broncos are giving up on Tim Tebow after just one year and two regular season starts - would flat out cut the first round draft pick if they didn't owe him $6 million this season?
A quarterback, who completed 6-of-7 in the Broncos pre-season opener, demoted to fourth string? What did this guy do wrong to warrant such treatment?
I don't think anyone will debate that Tebow isn't ready for prime time. Sorry, he's not John Elway. But you can't make an opinion on a player after one season.
The former Hiseman Trophy winner has a lot of flaws in his release. I don't know if he can play in the NFL either. But he's got some talent and leadership skills. Plus he's won at every stop.
Maybe he would be better suited as a running back. But didn't they say the same thing about Steve Young and Michael Vick -- who both happen to be left-handed quarterbacks?
