North Salinas
 This is your mystery team. Why? Because we don't know much about the Vikings. How could we with as many as 15 sophomores making up this year's varsity roster.
 North Salinas stumbled last year, dropping its last six games. Just one non-league team on its schedule this year did not have a winning record last fall.
 Can we expect growing pains? Without a doubt. Only two players that scored touchdowns last fall are back this year -- one being all league receiver Angel Estrada.
 But you don't bring up 15 sophomores unless they're talented. And you don't raid your lower programs to see them sit at the varsity level.
 The Vikings will improve upon its one win last year. The postseason -- is at least a year off.
