Christopher
At times Christopher didn't look like a first year varsity program last fall, winning three games in its inaugural season.
With no seniors last year, the entire squad is back this season. The Cougars looked sharp in July during the Carmel 7-on-7 passing tournament.
Quarterback Brandon Pickens quietly threw for over 1,500 yards last year while two receivers had 30 or more catches.
What Christopher has to eliminate this fall is its performance in the second quarter, where it was outscored 104-13. Erase that and it's in every game.
There is some size in the trenches and talent at the skilled positions. The program is growing in numbers. Could a fifth team out of the MBL be put into the conversation of playoffs?
