22 teams in 22 days VII
Pacific Grove
Lets be honest. When Chris Morgan took over as head coach at Pacific Grove in 2009, it was a shell of the program that had reached the playoffs eight straight years.
The well had run dry and Morgan inherited the rebuilding project.
As he begins his third season, the program is pointed in the right direction.
Does that mean a return to the playoffs? If Pacific Grove doubles its win total like it did last year, their will be postseason play.
Junior quarterback Kyle Czaplak provides stability at the most important position. James Karasek is a beast in the trenches. And Pacific Grove's early season schedule should get them off to a fast start.
My concern is Pacific Grove hasn't beaten a team with a winning record in two years. Seven wins is not out of reach.
