22 teams in 22 days III
Soledad
An attitude adjustment began the minute Soledad graduate Frankie Berlanga was named the new head coach in April.
Berlanga was a part of Soledad's school-record seven-win team in 2000 -- one of just two winning seasons in the program's 12-year history.
Six coaches in six years has left the program in a state of disarray. This time hope is real. Berlanga wanted this job. It's been a different environment in the off-season.
And while making their first ever postseason appearance might be a stretch in Year I of the Berlanga era, the Aztecs will be better. Their first .500 season in 10 years is within reach.
