Dynamic backfield

 A backfield worth watching this fall will be at Alvarez where Manuel Melano and David Perez will share time.
 Melano rushed for over 900 yards last year -- 600 plus in the TCAL, while Perez piled up a single game school record 353 yards as a sophomore in 2009.
 Perez missed all of last year after the CCS ruled him ineligible. But he's back for his senior year, giving the Eagles potentially two 1,000 yard rushers.
