With rain in the forecast for tonight's State Track Championships in Fresno, could the meet be in jeopardy?
It would be difficult to pole vault, high jump or spin a discus in wet conditions.
The last time it rained for a state meet finals was in 1993 when 2000 Olympic gold medalists Alvin and Calvin Harrison were at North Salinas.
The meet was originally canceled, but rescheduled two weeks later, where the twins helped North Salinas to a share of the state team title.
