The stars would seem to be aligned for Palma today as it attempts to clinch the Tri-County Athletic League title, hosting San Benito.
The Chieftains are 12-0 at home and have beaten the Balers twice this year, 2-1 and 8-5. Plus ace Julian Larimer is on the mound.
However, the Balers are the reigning five-time TCAL champions that sit just a game behind. Meaning a win moves them into a tie.
Six of San Benito's seven overall losses, though, have come on the road.
