Don't hand the Monterey Bay League title to North County just yet.
The MBL is as balanced as it's been in a long time in girls track. Seaside and Monte Vista have emerged as threats. And you can't discount Monterey in a big meet.
What could hurt Seaside and Monte Vista is both will take points from each other in the sprints and jumps. Monterey will dominate the distance events with CCS 3,200 leader Anna Welsh.
A race to watch will feature North County's Linda Delgado and Seaside's Jayla Scholis in the 200.
But in the end, the Condors depth will outdistance the rest of the field and another banner will float in the gym rafters.
