It certainly didn't start off like a title drive.
Gonzales was 1-5-0 in non-league play, producing just three goals. Three games into the MTAL season it was just 2-1-1.
But the Spartans never lost again, outscoring seven opponents 27-2. The MTAL champions will go into the postseason riding a seven-game winning streak.
