A sign of a championship program is how it responds to adversity.
CSUMB suffered its first loss of the season on Friday. A week earlier, it lost the services of one of its starters to a season ending injury.
Put it in the rear view mirror.
The Otters (17-1) bounced back on Saturday with a 59-40 win over Cal State, San Bernardino.
Big win?
You bet.
San Bernardino could have moved into a tie with the Otters with a win.
Instead, the Otters cling to a share of the CCAA lead with Pomona with eight games remaining.
And now the Otters are one win away from tying their single season school record for wins.
