Three members of the Monterey Peninsula College baseball team and two from Hartnell College were named to the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association Northern California Pre-Season All-American team.
Chosen from the Lobos included Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo bound pitcher Nick Grim, along with catcher Charlie McClung and infielder Jordan Queja.
Hartnell flamethrowers Michaelangelo Guzman and Michael Jensen were also named to the team.
Jensen and Grim were teammates at Salinas High.
