Surviving losing streaks of five and four games, including its first two MTAL games, Stevenson has won four straight to climb into a tie for second in league play. Tucker Forbes has asserted his 6-foot-8 frame in the paint while Michael Persall has found his stroke beyond the 3-point arc.
You don't here to much about Seaside's Osita Okonkwo. But the 6-foot-3 center is one of the better defensive players in the area. And he was clutch at the free throw line in the Spartans win over Monterey.
Did Palma finally turn Noah Allen loose in last week's setback to Gilroy? The sophomore dropped in 36 points. Prior to that, he was averaging 14.2 points in league. One defender can't stop the 6-foot-5 guard.
