In 17 career starts in the backfield for Monterey, John-Wyatt Williams has rushed for over 100 yards 14 times.
The most dangerous player on the field, however, might be Nate Malone. The senior sprinter is averaging 28.3 yards a catch and 12.8 yards on pitch outs.
In two seasons behind center, Devin Pearson has thrown for 4,870 yards and 54 touchdowns for Carmel. When on the run, the junior has 1,316 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns.
The most impressive stat is Pearson has never lost a fumble and has seven interceptions in 440 attempts.
