49ers

I actually think the 49ers are a better team -- better balanced - without tailback Frank Gore.
Now it forces stubborn coach Mike Singletary to use Brian Westbrook and rookie Anthony Dixon. Gore was clearly wearing down. In fact, his better days are likely behind him.
Westbrook can still play and is faster at hitting the holes than Gore. Unfortunately, this is just an audition for Westbrook, who will be playing for someone else next year.
