For just the second time in school history, Seaside will host a Central Coast Section playoff match tonight when it faces Valley Christian of San Jose in a Division III first round battle.
The Monterey Bay League co-champion Spartans are 1-4 overall in the postseason. That one win, however, came at home in 2007.
In Division IV play tonight, Carmel will host Mercy-Burlingame, King City entertains Harbor and Notre Dame travels to Harker of San Jose.
