This is what everyone wanted. A Monterey-North County rematch in the CCS Division III semi-finals. Well, it's what North County wanted.
Its only setback this year -- one that cost them a perfect season and Monterey Bay League title -- was administered by the streaking Toreadores 33-21 on Oct. 15.
That was a signature game for Monterey, erasing skepticism among its peer and faithful. These are two blue collar teams chasing the prize.
