Six weeks ago the faithful at Monterey were crucifying head coach Tom Newton after a crushing loss to Carmel.
Today the Toreadores can call themselves Monterey Bay League champions.
Oh, and Monterey hasn't lost since falling to Carmel, averaging 45.1 points a game during a six-game winning streak.
Still I get the feeling that if the Toreadores don't beat Seaside next Friday, ignorance will show up in chat rooms and blogs again.
But when your average margin of victory is 30.1 points a game, you're doing something right.
