Biggest disappointment: Salinas unable to get untracked, falling for the third straight year in the CCS Division I semifinals to Piedmont Hills 41-6.
Best play: Monterey quarterback Stephen Ventimilia getting an entire defense to bite on a fake -- not once, but twice for two touchdown runs.
