There are 97 runners out for cross country at Salinas this fall. Believe it or not, there are enough uniforms to go around.
Most programs in Monterey County have no more than 30 to 35 runners.
Only seven can count towards scoring in each division. But what a sight it must be seeing close to 100 runners jogging down the street together.
