Mid-Summer Classic

Major League Baseball's All-Star game is nothing more than an exhibition. So why is something so important like home field advantage for the World Series at stake?
It does not change how managers will manage this game. The idea is to get as many players involved as possible. And there are 33 players.
If we're going to continue to have at least one player represent each team, and I'm not against that, baseball needs to add two more spots on the rosters.
Lets be honest, is there really anyone from the A's or Orioles that belongs in this game? There will always be deserving players left off because of this rule. But lets keep it at a minium.
