Different set of rules

Michael Vick got 23 months for killings dogs. NFL receiver Donte Stallworth gets 30 days for taking a human life.
What is wrong with our society?
Don't tell me that hitting and killing a homeless man while driving drunk was an accident.
It's not an accident when you get behind a wheel intoxicated as Stallworth did. He's even admitted guilt.
Vick got what he deserved. His actions were ruthless. But do we really care more about animals than humans because this is pathetic?
What about the individual that killed the pitcher for the Anaheim Angels in a car accident in April while intoxicated? I bet he serves more than 30 days.
