 Seeing the core of a two-time conference championship team depart has not altered the Lobos quest to three-peat.
 MPC has gotten off to another sizzling start with four straight wins to open the season, having scored 35 runs.
 Former Notre Dame High slugger Alexia Torculas has put together three multiple hit games for the Lobos, with a homer and five runs batted in.
 Faith Alvarez showed some power at the plate with a homer in her last game while Hannah Bell, one of only three returning players, put together a multiple hit game with a pair of runs batted in.
 The concern coming into the season was in the circle. That has been extinguished with the addition of freshman pitcher Jesse Dupuis, who made her debut by tossing a no-hitter.
 Dupuis has two shutouts in two starts, and tossed five innings of relief to run her record to 3-0. She has allowed just one run in 17 innings of work with 14 strikeouts.
