Jamaree Bouyea

For as dynamic of a scorer as Jamaree Bouyea was at Palma, it's been his defense that is earning him more minutes for the University of San Francisco men's basketball team.

The true sophomore has appeared in all 17 games for the 14-3 Dons, averaging 23.1 minutes a game this winter.

Bouyea is second on the team in block shots (10) and third in steals (22). The 6-foot-2 guard is also fourth in assists (22) and seventh in scoring at 5.6 points a game.

Bouyea lead Palma to three straight Gabilan Division titles and a spot in the State Division IV title game in 2016, earning The Herald's Basketball Player of the Year honor twice.
