Former Pacific Grove High sharpshooter Brad Sendell has not lost his shooting touch, leading the Lawrence University men's basketball team in scoring at 17.1 points a game.
The 6-foot-1 sophomore has started 15 of the teams 16 games, averaging a team high 32.4 minutes a night for the Vikings, an NCAA Division III program that is based in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Sendell, who spent last season at Monterey Peninsula College, is shooting 89 percent from the free throw line. He also leads the team in assists (3.4) and is third in rebounds (4.6).
A three-time Mission Trail Athletic League Player of the Year, Sendell was a three-time member of The Herald's All-County Basketball team.
