CCS football

While it is understandable why a higher seeded team would want its home, there is no guarantee that Monday's air quality will be any better than today to play.
As of this moment, the air quality north of Gilroy has been deemed unhealthy for the second straight day because of the smoke from the ragging fires up north.
Fourteen games were postponed with six of them slated for today. That's not going to happen unless the winds change direction before this evening.
Alternate plans or neutrals may not work at this point, although I suppose you could play multiple games at sites in Salinas or Monterey, where the air quality is currently moderate.
This is not just a Central Coast Section issue. Fires are effecting others sections as well, including southern California.
The bigger concern, though, isn't about a game. This pales in comparison to families losing a house or a loved one.
