Taylor Rose has taken part in 56 of the Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo volleyball teams 69 sets this fall, primarily in the back row.
Rose has contributed 31 digs and 11 service aces as a true freshman for the Mustangs, who are off to their best start in school history at 19-1, and are ranked No. 11 in the AVCA Top 25 poll.
The 5-foot-9 Rose, who compiled 474 kills last year for Salinas in earning The Herald's Volleyball Player of the Year, recently recorded her first collegiate kill.
