Playing behind a 1,000 yard running back, when Rodriguez got on the field, he showed glimpses of his potential last season, even rushing for a touchdown for Alvarez.
The offensive load in the backfield could fall into his hands this season. Rodriguez will also see time in the secondary, where he recorded a handful of tackles last fall.
