For the first time in over five years, MPC had a running back rush for over 1,000 yards as Nye took the job in the fall and ran with it, finishing with 1,115 yards and 12 touchdowns last season.
A punishing tailback with deceptive speed, the former San Benito product also caught 28 passes for 303 yards and two touchdowns for the bowl bound Lobos.
