The runner-up at the Mission Trail Athletic League cross country finals last year, Lang bounced back by qualifying for the state meet in Division IV.
A two-time all-leaguer, Lang helped the Padres to their first league title in six years last season. Her biggest nemesis in league may be teammate and league champion Rachel Suess.
