The Cowboys completed an undefeated season in the NorCal High School Cycling Series by winning their fifth series race of the season as a team.
As a result, Salinas will compete May 19-20 in the California State prep mountain bike championships in Petaluma.
Salinas coach Jim Warwick was named the Northern California Coach of the year.
Finishing in the top 10 in the varsity girls race included Miranda Urquides (6th), Alison O’Dell (7th) and Jane Carr (9th).
Rylan Loader made a podium finish after finishing fourth overall in the varsity boys race.
Brad Campbell was a champion in his class for the series for Salinas. Joining him in the top 10 were Jacob Pina (6th), Casey Hansen (7th) and Mason Toby (9th).
Also finishing in the top 10 in their respective divisions were Sarah Flynn (9th), Dennis Reynolds (9th), Avery Gonzales (6th), Andrew Carr (4th), Shane Agan (5th) and Carlos Cruz (6th).
