3. Gilroy: Prove worthy of its top seed, capturing the CCS Division I title.
4. San Benito: Gabilan Division co-champions fell in the Division I finals.
5. Carmel: Will use its section finals appearance as a building block.
6. Pacific Grove: Went out and won 19 games this spring
7. Christopher: Played .500 baseball most the season.
8. Notre Dame: Will be looking for a new hurler in the circle.
9. North Salinas: Pacific Division co champions ousted in the Division I semifinals.
10. Salinas: Held its own in its return to the Gabilan Division.
On the bubble: Alvarez Monterey, Soledad, Seaside, North County.
