Tim Burkhardt, North Salinas, QB:  The senior threw for a school record 2,215 yards and 20 touchdowns this past fall for the Vikings. Burkhardt was also second on the team in rushing with 302 yards and two touchdowns. In two seasons at North Salinas, Burkhardt threw for 3,742 yards and 34 touchdowns.
Daniel Higman, Carmel, QB: Provided the MTAL champion Padres with more than just an aerial assault, rushing for 1,001 yards and 12 touchdowns. Higman also threw for 1,820 yards while tossing  21 scoring strikes, accounting for 33 touchdowns.
Covossay Windham, Carmel, RB: While a torn ACL cut short his season, Windham still went over 1,000 yards in six games, rushing for 17 touchdowns. In three seasons at Carmel, the senior produced 55 touchdowns on the ground and over 4,100 yards.
Emilio Martinez, Palma, RB: The Herald's Offensive Player of Year, Martinez  put up fantasy type numbers this year, shattering the county record for touchdowns in a season with 39. Martinez set a school rushing record with 2,482 yards. In 30 career games at Palma, the senior rushed for a county record 4,982 yards.
Keishawn Robinson, Seaside, RB: A repeater on The Herald's All-County team, Robinson was quick and elusive, rushing for just under 1,700 yards and 19 touchdowns this season. Taking direct snaps at times out of the Wildcat, the Pacific Division's Offensive Player of the Year had 12 touchdowns of 30 yards or longer.
Emmanuel Ortega, Soledad, RB: Just a junior, Ortega rushed for over 1,700 yards for the CCS Division IV champions, compiling nearly 1,000 yards in his final five games. On the season, Ortega rushed for 16 touchdowns, including the game winner in the section title game.
Damon Diaz, North Salinas, WR: Blessed with soft hands, Diaz put together a season to remember with 53 catches for 1,002 yards and 10 touchdowns. The senior averaged over 19 yards a catch, with four of his touchdowns being 35 yards or longer.
Hayden Stachelek, Carmel, WR: In a long line of big receivers, Stachelek put up big numbers for the Padres, finishing with 48 catches for nearly 700 yards and seven touchdowns. Despite a cracked fibula, the senior finished his final game at Carmel with a touchdown catch in the postseason.
Will Lansbury, Stevenson, WR: The Mission Trail Athletic League's Offensive Player of the Year, Lansbury put together a record breaking season for the Pirates with 78 catches for 1,312 yards and 21 touchdowns -- all school records. He also intercepted six passes and scored four touchdowns on defense while recording 100 tackles. Lansbury hopes to walk on at Northwestern University.
Clay Barbree, King City, TE: One of two juniors named to the offensive team, Barbree caught a team high 44 passes for nearly 800 yards and nine touchdowns, leading the Mustangs in points. He was also among the team leaders in interceptions on defense.
Fabian Hunkin, North Salinas, OL: A starter on both offense and defense, Hunkin helped protect the blind side of his quarterback while creating holes for the ground game. A repeater on the All-County team, the 265-pound senior also earned all Gabilan Division honors on defense this past fall.
Drew Dalman, Palma, OL: Bound for Stanford as an offensive linemen, the three-year starter took his opponents for a ride when opening holes for the ground game. The 6-5, 275-pound senior did not allow a sack this year. Dalman also started on defense and was the Gabilan Division's Player of the Year.
Robert Hernandez, Palma, OL: Overshadowed by a Division I teammate on the same line, the 6-4 Hernandez was a punishing run blocker, pulling on traps. The 250-pound senior was a big reason the Chieftains rushed for over 3,000 yards this fall.
Daniel Contawe, Soledad, OL: The Mission Trail Athletic League's Lineman of the Year, Contawe was a beast in the trenches, creating holes for the ground game while pancaking opponents in pass protection. Contawe also compiled 135 tackles and 15 sacks on defense.
Wyatt Conner, Salinas, OL: A first team all Gabilan Division selection, the Cowboys often ran in the direction of the senior linemen. A leader of the offensive line, Conner was also arguably Salinas' best player in pass protection.
